You start by registering for www.studentskinconsult.com This website has a series of videos describing skin conditions at an Undergraduate level. Access is free.
Once you graduate you then register to take the Institute’s Diploma in Dermatology at www.myskinconsult.comThis is conducted online over 28 weeks divided into 2 Semesters. You have to pay to do this. See http://www.myskinconsult.com/about.cfmand download the PDF files for details.
If you are in the top 20% of graduates from the Diploma course you will be invited to join the
Advanced Dermatology Course. This is run online over 18 months with weekly webinars covering specialized medical dermatology as well as dermatoscopy, dermatopathology, dermsurgery and cosmetic dermatology. It uses the www.dermconsult.com.au website.
These courses are comprehensive in themselves but will also help you in getting used to
self directed learning which is an essential skill to acquire for your professional future.
